Location: North Brisbane suburbs — a quiet, accessible neighborhood with everything you need in reach

We’re looking for a gentle, reliable house sitter to care for our much-loved pets and home while we’re away. It’s a perfect short-term retreat for someone who appreciates calm days, companion animals, and a well-appointed space to rest or work from.

🗓️ Dates: Nov 27th 2025 - December 17th 2025

📍 Location: Griffin 4503 approx. 35mins north of Brisbane CBD - easy drive to the Sunshine Coast, five mins from the highway for the Gold Coast.

🏡 The Home:

A spacious, two-storey home with modern comforts and room to breathe.

4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms

Study, media room, library

Open-plan living/dining with ducted aircon + heating

Large kitchen with butler’s pantry

Washer/dryer, dishwasher, and Wi-Fi

Toiletries provided: shampoo, conditioner, lotions, toothbrush/paste, slippers; think of it like a hotel!

A small backyard with fruit trees and a gazebo — perfect for a morning cuppa

Well-appointed study for any work-from-homers

Boat ramp and waterfront cafe five mins drive away

Great suburb walking paths and nearby nature trails

Ten minutes drive from a Westfield shopping centre

Five minutes walk to nearest bus stop

Ten minutes drive to nearest train station

Quiet suburb with friendly neighbours

Easy access north or south on the highway

Plenty of food options available nearby (including a wide array of Uber Eats)

🐶 Your Companions:

1 Border Collie — affectionate, intelligent, and a total sook

He is a self-proclaimed inside dog who loves routine - and attention, sneaky treats, and taking up as much space as possible on the couch or bed

He will be three next February and is well-trained (including crate-trained).

5 Indoor Cats — soft-hearted, sweet souls who also love routine (and food!)

Our oldest is 13 and our youngest is 5

The personalities range from “I am ruler of the universe don’t touch me” to “sit down so I can lay on you for the love”

All are strictly indoor only (please be mindful when opening doors)

All of the horde are fed morning and evening

🌿 What We’re Looking For:

Someone kind, tidy, and confident with animals

Comfortable feeding pets, scooping litter trays, and maintaining basic routines

Willing to mow the lawn for the doggo’s yard to remain fresh (we can always outsource this if simpler)

Keep the cats and home secure and loved

Our home is our haven and holds our six most precious reasons to live — we’re looking for someone who’ll treat them with the same love and care we do while we’re away
