House sit Central Tilba

Your days in Central Tilba unfold with a gentle rhythm, beginning as the mist lifts from Gulaga. Early mornings here are defined by the quiet; the only sounds might be birdsong or the soft clatter from the Tilba Teapot preparing its first customers. This serene start is ideal for an unhurried dog walk along the village's single main street, past heritage buildings. Pets accustomed to a calm environment will settle in quickly, finding comfort in the peacefulness. Collecting your morning coffee becomes part of a ritual, observing the village slowly come to life. By late morning, Tilba’s small cluster of shops invites a leisurely exploration. Everything for daily errands, from artisan cheese to local provisions at the Tilba Deli, is accessible on foot. For active pets, a longer stroll might involve looping around the village perimeter, perhaps catching glimpses of cows grazing in nearby paddocks. The lack of extensive foot traffic means these walks are often calm and stress-free for animals. Lunches are easily sourced locally, allowing return to the home for a quiet afternoon routine with your charges. Afternoons lend themselves to further exploration of Gulaga's foothills, or a short drive to Mystery Bay for an ocean-side walk with an active companion if permitted. The village, however, remains the core of your daily existence, offering quiet pathways and the opportunity to simply observe. Evenings bring a profound stillness. Minimal streetlights mean the night sky opens up, encouraging early restful nights for both you and any pets under your care. The relaxed pace means less urgency in your schedule, more time for attentive pet companionship and maintaining the home.
