Bombala is a charming rural community situated 2 hours from Canberra, 1 hour from the Sapphire Coast and 1.5 hours from Jindabyne. The town is quaint with the local pub open a heart meal or a cold beer, it also has a local cafe, bakery and RSL providing delicious meals. The local butcher and IGA stocks everything you need to be comfortable at home. Known for our platypus the local river walking track is often a favourite for those travelling through or staying in town. If your a keen skier or snowboarder we’re the perfect location to do day trips to Thredbo or Perisher, being only 1.5hrs to the snow fields! For those more inclined to visit the beach for a day trip, we’re only 1 hour to Merimbula which has fantastic beaches and a gorgeous coastal town.
