House Sitting in south west

Hi. We are a family of 4 who live in a beach house in Falcon, WA. We have 2 x mini Schnauzers who love cuddles and affection. They get fed twice daily. We will be away for 4 x weeks, so minimal garden care, with a grass mow perhaps once or twice, but not a biggie. We would prefer a mature older lady, or perhaps an older couple travelling who wants to rest the caravan and chill for a while.

We have a cottage with a garden that will need watering twice a week. It is reticulated but needs manual shifts. We have an 8year old well trained male Doberman. He needs walking twice a day. He is an inside/outside dog. A creature of habit that likes his routine. Also a flock of chickens. They will need their feeder topped up and the eggs collected. We have driveway parking with an electric gate for security. Single or couple sitters will be welcome.

We have a very peaceful 10 acres set in the National Park just 18km from Collie and just down the road to the coast and the beautiful Ferguson Valley. There are 3 horses that just need to be checked on twice a day, ensuring that the fences are clear. Bonus if you can use a small chainsaw. The rest of the time is yours to explore the many nearby attractions or just relax near the wood heater.

House-sitter must be a dog lover. Our main priority is to find company and care for our 13-year-old staffie/mastiff cross. She is a very gentle soul who needs moderate daily walks and as much company as you can give her. Apart from a few pot-plants the garden more or less looks after itself (maybe mow the lawn once a month). Our house is a 10-minute walk from the centre of town and even closer to the beach.

To care for a 3 year old, very well behaved, border collie and 8 chickens. Our border collie is not used to being left for long hours as we work from home on our 10 acre property in Harvey, so this sit would not be suitable for people working/going out for several hours most days of the week. We are on a Small hobby farm just out of town. Our 2 cats, ducks, chooks will require feed and water while we are away. There are 10 sheep that won’t require much attention. Garden watering is minimal as on rain tank water. Our house I has 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, air conditioning and veranda around the house. Very relaxed atmosphere in a bush setting.

Small dog (Schnoodle) that loves walks! House has stairs and is about 1km to beaches. Every thing around Bunbury is a 5 minute drive so close to shops, restaurants and lots of seaside walks. Close enough to do day trips to Busselton, Dunsborough and Margaret River.
