House sit AUGUSTA

Life in Augusta moves at the rhythmic pace where the southern and Indian oceans meet. Morning routines often involve walking the dog along the local beach or through bush tracks. Since the town lacks a central commercial hub, your daily rhythm will likely revolve around local stretches of beach and the occasional trip into nearby Margaret River for larger supplies. Most house sitters find that the solitude of the area suits those who enjoy watching the sunsets or sitting on the verandah watching the many birds who visit. Weekends provide opportunities to explore the nearby seafood trails or paddle through the calm waters of the inlet. You might find yourself spending hours on the coastal trails, making it easy to tire out a high-energy pet before settling in for a quiet evening. While transport links are sparse, the stillness of the landscape makes the responsibility of home stewardship feel deeply connected to the natural environment.
