House Sitting in koolewong, 2256

Life in Koolewong moves to the rhythm of the tides and the rustle of coastal scrub. Your mornings might begin with a quiet coffee on the veranda before heading out with a dog for a long walk through the nearby bushland tracks or along the edges of the Hawkesbury River. The air stays salt-tinged and still, making this an ideal base for those who prefer a slower, more intentional pace. Keeping pets engaged involves exploring the local shoreline or finding shaded spots under the canopy where they can roam safely. Errands are straightforward, often involving short drives to nearby Woy Woy or Umina for groceries and local supplies. On weekends, local markets provide a chance to stock the pantry with fresh produce, while the nearby train links offer an easy escape if you need more activity. Settling into a home here feels less like a temporary stay and more like a retreat into nature, where the primary responsibility is simply maintaining the calm, steady routine of the household.
