House sit Jurien Bay

Living in Jurien Bay requires a car for most errands, as the town layout is spread out along the coastline. Grocery shopping happens at the local IGA, which serves as the primary hub for daily essentials. For long walks with dogs, the Jurien Bay Foreshore offers flat, paved paths that wind past the playground and toward the jetty. These routes provide easy access to the beach for morning exercise before the midday heat sets in. The pace of life follows the tides and the sun. Most social activity centers around the small strip of cafes near the ocean, where you can grab coffee without traveling far from a residential street. While the town feels quiet, the Indian Ocean Highway provides a direct link for larger supply runs to Geraldton or Perth. Most sitters find that once they establish a routine around the local beach access points, managing pet walks and household maintenance feels seamless within this relaxed coastal rhythm.
