House sit BINALONG

Living in Binalong requires a car for most errands, as the township sits quietly between Yass and Gundagai. While the pace of life feels slow and deliberate, staying mobile is key to managing pet walks and grocery runs. You can drive a few minutes to Yass for larger supermarkets and medical services, or head toward Wagga Wagga for more extensive shopping needs. Local essentials are limited, so planning your pantry supplies in advance prevents unnecessary trips on rural roads. Walking is possible within the immediate village, particularly along the quiet streets near the local park, which serves as a good spot for a morning stretch with a dog. The surrounding landscape offers bushwalking trails that provide fresh air without needing to travel far. Most days involve a calm routine of tending to the garden and keeping the home secure while enjoying the stillness of the Murrumbidgee region. Relying on your own vehicle ensures you can navigate the stretches of highway that connect this pocket to the rest of the Riverina.
