House sit Tuross Head

In Tuross Head, mornings often begin with the distinct rhythm of the tide and a leisurely walk. The foreshore path, tracing the lake's edge, provides an immediate option for your canine companion's first outing, the salty air invigorating for both of you. You will find that the village's compact nature means the local general store or a quiet coffee spot near the boat ramp are just a short stroll away, allowing errands to integrate smoothly into a relaxed daily schedule, always with an eye on your temporary charges. Beyond the immediate pet care routine, the area encourages an unhurried outdoor lifestyle. After ensuring your charges are comfortable, consider kayaking on Coila Lake, a calm expanse perfect for a paddle, or exploring the walking trails that wind through the coastal bushland, leading to viewpoints over the ocean. Many stretches of Tuross Beach welcome dogs at specific times, offering expansive sandy runs for energetic pets and breathtaking sunsets for you after a day of house sitting. Weekend explorations often involve a short drive to Moruya for its Saturday markets, an ideal spot to grab fresh produce and local crafts before returning to the quiet embrace of Tuross. Here, the emphasis remains on nature and peace. Evenings naturally unfold with another stroll by the water, the only sounds being the gentle lapping of waves against the shore and the distant call of a bird, ensuring a serene end to your days looking after someone’s home.
