Assignment Requirements

We have a 5 acre property in Samsonvale. We have an assortment of animals:

1 dog - Ripper is a pedigree Australian Kelpie and loves to run, chase the ball and go on walks.

2 cats - Alex and Saffron - they are both about 18 years old so they pretty much sleep all day and night and are generally inside cats.

4 goats - Marty, Ollie, Daphne & Daisy. They are Nigerian Dwarf goats and love to interact with people. They are in their own paddock of about one acre so they are almost set and forget but their water needs to be freshened / checked every few days. They also love treats such as garden / foodscraps, banana leaves and, depending on the pasture, they may need some grassy lucerne each day. They have a lockable enclosure but we no longer lock them up at night. Feel free to relax on the trampoline with them for some, very Zen, goat therapy.

3 Alapacas - Monty, Stanley and Obby. These guys are on their own paddock of an acre or so and like the goats, are set and forget though, again, keep a daily eye on their water and freshen as required. They also love treats such as lucerne, pellets, triple chaff and oats.

Finally, we have 4 chooks. These girls need their eggs collected, and their food & water topped up. Also, the perfect place for food scraps from the kitchen.

The house is quite large with ducted A/C, It has 4 bedrooms, a large lounge with a nice big smart tv, modern kitchen and an office / study. There is an outdoor area with dining table and BBQ and we have a pool.

We look forward to hearing from the right person to look after out little slice of heaven and our animals and would welcome the opportunity to show you around on a few occasions before we set off.
