We are looking for a responsible and caring house and pet sitter to look after our home and beloved dogs while we travel 8 September to 23 October.

We live in beautiful Inverloch, a coastal town located 143 km southeast of Melbourne in the Bass Coast Shire of Gippsland. Our home is a single-storey, fully fenced property with three bedrooms (the main with an ensuite), a newly renovated kitchen, and two living areas. We are conveniently situated just a 5-minute walk from the inlet beach and a quick 5-minute drive to the surf beach. The town centre, featuring cafes, retail shops, two hotels, a butcher, and a supermarket, is only a 10-minute walk away. For larger shopping needs, Wonthaggi is a 10-minute drive from our home.

About our boys

We have two adorable Maltese/Shih Tzu boys, Charlie and Cooper, who are 7.5 years old. We adopted them three years ago, and they thrive on companionship and love. Here’s what you need to know about them:

- They are fed twice a day and enjoy at least one walk a day, preferably on the beach where they can run freely.

- They love playing ball in the backyard and spending time with us outdoors.

- Cooper does have some anxiety, particularly around thunder and fireworks, and can be a bit territorial with other dogs when on a lead. However, he’s quite sociable when off-lead at the beach.

Responsibilities

- Feeding Charlie and Cooper twice daily.

- Giving them at least one walk a day.

- Spending quality time with them to keep them company and help ease any anxiety.
