House Sitting in pelican point, 6230

Living in Pelican Point requires a mindset tuned to the coastal rhythm and the shifting tides of the Mandurah estuary. Morning routines often center around the local shoreline, where long walks along the sand provide a steady cadence for walking resident dogs. The nearby trails weave through saltmarshes and limestone outcrops, offering quiet routes for exploration before the midday heat settles in. While the pace remains slow, the proximity to the Mandurah waterfront ensures that a short drive connects you to bustling café strips and local seafood markets for weekend lunches. Maintaining the home feels less like a chore and more like a stewardship of a seaside retreat. Most afternoons are spent watching the sunlight hit the water from the deck, perhaps while checking the garden for salt spray or ensuring the pets are settled in the shade. Weekend trips often involve exploring the nearby canals or catching the train toward Perth for a change of scenery, though the pull of the local jetties and quiet walking paths usually keeps life centered around the water's edge.
