Local Lifestyle Guide

Morning starts with the salt air drifting through open windows and the soft padding of paws on floorboards. Bellbrae moves at a measured pace, dictated more by the tide than the clock. Most days involve a slow walk along the coastal tracks toward Jan Juc or a loop through the local bushland trails, making it easy to tire out even the most energetic dogs. The local streets are quiet, offering a stillness that suits the responsibility of looking after a private home. After a coastal trek, the walk back leads naturally toward the nearby cafe strips for a coffee before settling into the rhythm of house sitting. Provisions are simple to manage, with local markets and small shops nearby providing everything needed for a quiet week. While the town feels tucked away, the connection to the Great Ocean Road ensures you are never truly isolated. This is a lifestyle of long walks, coastal views, and the steady, predictable calm of seaside living.
