We are planning to travel for 4 to 5 weeks, through September 2026, and are looking for the right people to care for our home and pets while we are away.

We have an English Staffordshire terrier and a quiet little cat, who love routine and company, so we have some pretty specific requirements! Our dog does not enjoy long periods alone, so we are looking for someone who is retired or works from home so that she does not have full days of being home alone for most of the week.

Our girl is young and loves a daily walk or two! We live in a great area for walking but we are at the top of a hill and our girl can pull a little on the lead so we are looking for someone who can handle that.

Our cat is chilled and you will barely know she is there except at night when she will want to share your bed, so we are hoping to find someone who is ok with that!!

We live in Torquay, VIC, in a double story house.l on a regular block. Our garden is fairly self sufficient at that time of year so there won’t be too much maintenance.

It is outside our budget to pay a significant daily rate, given how long we are away for, so we are hoping to find someone who would enjoy some quiet time near the beach, golf course and town for 4 or 5 weeks before the summer madness descends!

We have had some poor experiences in the past with sitters so we will require checks and references. Hopefully that does not offend.
