House Sitting in barwon heads, 3227

Morning routines here start with the sound of the Bass Strait surf and the quiet rhythm of a coastal town. Once the pets are fed, a slow walk along the Barwon River estuary or through the dunes offers plenty of sniffing opportunities for dogs. The walking trails connecting the river to the beach provide a steady, meditative pace that suits settling into a new home. Most days involve wandering down the main village strip for a coffee or browsing the local shops before the midday heat sets in. Afternoons are best spent finding a patch of shade or heading toward the estuary banks. If the local markets are running, it is a good time to stock the pantry with fresh produce. Life moves at a slower speed in the 3227 postcode, making it easy to focus on the comfort of the household and the well-being of the animals in your care. Evenings usually settle into a peaceful stillness as the salt air cools down.
