House Sitting in federal, 2480

Life in Federal moves at a gentle, rhythmic pace, shaped by the rolling hills of the Southern Highlands. Mornings usually begin with a quiet stroll through the nearby bushland tracks or a slow walk along the scenic outskirts of the village. While the area lacks a bustling high street, the local charm lies in its stillness and the crisp, highland air. You might find yourself driving a short distance to Bowral for a weekend market run or a specialty coffee, but most days are spent enjoying the privacy of a large garden. Caring for pets here feels natural, as there is plenty of space for long, unhurried walks through open paddocks. After a day of exploring local trails or visiting nearby farm gates, returning to a quiet home offers a sense of genuine seclusion. The evenings are defined by watching the light change over the valleys, making it a restorative environment for those who appreciate solitude and the simple textures of rural living.
