House Sitting in cooks hill, 2300

Life in Cooks Hill moves at a rhythmic, coastal pace. Morning routines often begin with a walk along the Merewether Beach coastline or a quiet stroll through the leafy streets toward the Hilltops playground. Dogs find plenty of space to wander along the beachfront tracks, making them easy companions for long afternoon walks. The local culture centers around small-scale rituals, like grabbing a flat white at a corner café on the main strip or browsing the weekend produce stalls. The neighborhood favors slow afternoons spent reading in a sun-drenched backyard or watching the sunset from the cliffs. Getting around is simple, as the suburb is highly walkable, though the nearby bus routes connect you easily to the busier Newcastle CBD if you need a change of scenery. Managing a home here feels less like a chore and more like an invitation to settle into a quiet, established community where the sound of the ocean provides a constant, calming backdrop for both you and the resident pets.
