House Sitting in oyster bay, 2225

Oyster Bay offers a steady, coastal rhythm that suits a relaxed house-sitting stint. Mornings usually revolve around a slow stroll through the bushy tracks of the local reserves or a wander toward the waterfront to watch the tides turn. Walking the perimeter of the bay provides plenty of headspace for long, meditative walks with a resident dog. The pace here feels intentional, far removed from the frantic energy of the city, making it easy to settle into the quiet routine of home maintenance and pet care. Food is centered around simple, reliable comforts. You will find yourself gravitating toward the small strip of cafes near the shopping village for a mid-morning coffee or picking up fresh produce at the weekend markets. Most afternoons are spent exploring the winding residential streets or heading toward nearby beaches for a quiet sunset. While the suburb feels secluded, the regular bus links provide a straightforward connection to the broader region when you need to step away from the sanctuary of the garden.
