House Sitting in queens park, 2022

Morning rituals in Queens Park center around the expansive greenery of the namesake park, where the shade of ancient trees offers a quiet sanctuary for long walks. If you are watching a dog during your stay, the wide grassy stretches and winding paths provide ample space for daily exercise and off-leash play. The pace here feels intentional, grounded by the rhythmic ebb and flow of local life rather than the frantic energy of the nearby city center. Weekends lean heavily into the outdoors, often beginning with a coffee on the quiet café strips that line the local streets. You might find yourself wandering through the organic produce stalls at weekend markets or following the coastal trails that lead toward the ocean. While the suburb feels tucked away, the proximity to reliable public transport makes exploring further afield easy. Living in a local home allows you to settle into this slower cadence, finding balance between pet care and the effortless access to nature.
