We are currently in discussions with a couple of interested parties.

We will be travelling for the month of July 2021 and are in need of a housesitter to look after our home and a sprightly 17 year old cat called Mowie. Our home is situated within Mount Glorious Village at Mount Glorious. Mount Glorious is a small rural hamlet surrounded by National Park. Next door is Mount Nebo and combined the population is around 1500 residents. If you love nature and bushwalking this is for you. The villages of Nebo and Glorious are surrounded by the D'Aguliar National Park where there are spectacular bushwalks, rock pools and scenic lookouts.

The weekends in the Village do get busy as it is a motorbike riders dream and the Mt Glorious café which is 200 meters from the front door is always busy with motorbikes. Elm Haus cafe is further along the road approx 1.5kms and more sedate with day trippers and bushwalkers.

Should you love to sing you could pop across to Mt Nebo on a Thursday evening between 7.30pm-9.30pm and attend Peace'n'Choir which is my lovely choir that is completely acapella, they love visitors and your first visit is free to attend.

Down the bottom of the Mountain is Samford Valley and the Village of Samford which has everything you need for groceries, petrol, ATMs etc. It also has an array of gift shops, cafes and a local country pub that has wonderful meals.

If you are travelling around in a caravan our property will not be suitable for you, there is nowhere for you to put your van.

If you are travelling with pets this house sitting assignment is not for you and we will not approve, our cat becomes extremely stressed around other animals .
