Hi,

We live in a small, rural town in central Victoria called Newbridge. We are looking for a responsible person/s to look after our modest home, 2 spoilt indoor only cats, and 3 little old lady chickens.

We live on approx. 1 acre of land, have a wood fire (we will supply plenty of cut, split wood to keep you warm), tank water and very limited mobile phone service. We have satellite wifi and a landline phone for emergencies. It is very peaceful and we are set next to the Lodden River so there is nature and birdlife all around.

We would prefer to have a non-smoker and some one with no pets of their own or children (our little cat Fergus is incredibly shy and unfortunately wouldn't cope with kids or other animals). We would also prefer someone who has experience looking after chickens and doesn't mind cleaning out their small night enclosure occasionally.

Newbridge is very small, only has a pub and a general store, but we are only 30 minutes from the city of Bendigo which has everything you would need.

We look forward to being paired with a house sitter soon.
