Our home is on a ¾ acre block [3000m2] in a semi rural estate at Burpengary [Moreton shire], located about a kilometre from the main highway to the Sunshine Coast. We are seeking house sitters who would be willing to share the property for a period with our disabled son (aged 31 years). Our son lives independently in a portion of the main house. He is quiet and without behavioural issues.

You would have your own self-contained motel style unit with access to surrounding gardens, a swimming pool, heated spa, tennis court and undercover patio. You would be expected to assist with basic maintenance of those facilities.

Our son has some carer supports already in place and you would not be required to provide care for him as such. He works or attends day programs during the week. We are seeking someone who is willing to provide basic supervision and awareness just to ensure his safety and security. For example, we need to know that he has got home safely from work. You may be able to extend your assistance to some simple transport for him [car supplied for that purpose]. This would be helpful but not a strict requirement.

We also have an older Jack Russell terrier on the property.
