Hi there, my partner Kelvin and I live on 30 acres in a lovely bush setting about 20 km outside the city of Bendigo, Victoria. Bendigo is a very historic Gold Mining City with lots to see and do, with wonderful activities run by the local council. It is also close to Lake Eppalock which is great for people who like spending the day boating or camping etc. We have 2 Dogs - Vic who is a black Kelpie and Tassie who is a long legged Jack Russell - they are "outside" dogs who have a lovely big compound to be put into at night. Then we have 4 cats - Leonard, Charlotte, Matilda and Moray. Needless to say they rule the roost. (dogs have masters, cats have staff!!) We have 6 chooks, 1 rooster, 3 Guinea fowl. We also have an aviary with a mixture of parrots, budgies, finches, quail etc. Not to mention hundreds of kangaroos that live on our property. It is so lovely to see them at dawn and dusk and makes us realise how lucky we are to have that kind of view from our kitchen windows etc!!

We are going on a trip to UK then sailing back via the Suez canal, so should be a wonderful trip.

We would be pleased to hear from anyone who is wanting to have a spell of peace and quiet yet be close to all the normal facilities required.
