House sit ROCKINGHAM

Life in Rockingham settles into a rhythmic, coastal pace that suits a quiet house-sitting routine. Mornings often begin with a slow walk along the Foreshore Drive esplanade, where the sea breeze provides a refreshing backdrop for exercising dogs or simply clearing your head before starting the day. The long stretch of sandy coastline offers plenty of space for pets to wander on a lead, while the nearby coastal trails provide shaded paths for longer afternoon strolls. Afternoons can be spent finding a quiet corner in a local café along the beachfront strips, often with a dog resting by your feet. For those preferring a more local feel, the weekly markets offer a chance to pick up fresh produce without the rush of the city. This suburb functions as a grounded home base, centered around easy access to the train line for trips further north or south. Settling into a local home here means embracing a lifestyle defined by salt air, low-key afternoons, and predictable, soothing tides.
