Our family is looking for a reliable, experienced house and dog sitter to care for our home at Moorooka on Brisbane's southside and our charming two-year-old cavoodle "Beku" this summer.

We will be overseas from 14 December 2025 to 13 January 2026.

The house is a comfortable, three-bedroom renovated Queenslander with air-conditioning and a swimming pool to keep you cool through the hottest part of summer.

There is a breezy back deck, which is a great place to relax and unwind. The garden is fully fenced and a good size for doggy to run about in.

Beku is an active and healthy medium-sized mini cavoodle with a gentle temperament. He loves to go for walks in nearby Toohey forest and hang out with his furry friends at the local dog park.

Neighbourhood highlights:

• public transport connections - walking distance from Moorooka train station, plenty of buses

• A good selection of multicultural restaurants at Moorooka Central

• Good shopping options within a short drive: Rocklea Markets, Woolworths at Moorooka or Tennyson, Coles at Fairfield

House jobs would include:

• Feeding and walking the dog

• mowing the lawn & watering plants

• pool maintenance
