House sit Bongaree

Your stay in Bongaree will settle into a rhythm guided by the tide and morning light. Expect quiet starts, often with sunrise over the Pumicestone Passage, ideal for your first walk with the resident pet. The paved foreshore path extends for kilometres, offering views towards the distant Glass House Mountains and plenty of space for exercise. Afterward, a short stroll to the café strip near the jetty provides a moment for a coffee and to observe the local pelicans. Afternoons here tend towards a relaxed pace. Consider a quieter amble through Brennan Park, a popular spot for dog owners, or along the pathways leading through leafy residential streets. The calm waters invite observation; you might see a dugong or dolphin while your charge rests nearby. Pet care easily blends with this environment, offering ample outdoor opportunity without needing a vehicle for every outing. Weekends introduce a gentle buzz. The Bribie Island Markets often set up in Brennan Park, a pleasant outing to browse local crafts or fresh produce, with your furry companion by your side. For a change of scenery, a short drive across the island leads to Woorim Beach, where designated sections allow dogs on leash, providing a different coastal experience. Bongaree rewards a slow approach, ensuring both you and the pets in your care find comfort in its easy going nature.
