Assignment Requirements

Look after some fish tanks, chickens and a lot of budgies.

Birds will mainly be in three outdoor aviaries.

Some plant watering may be required as well.

Please no pets. We have had bad experiences with ‘good’ dogs chasing the birds, which kills them.

Although this is a four bedroom house, there are only two active bedrooms. Set on two acres, you are surrounded by gum trees with about 1/4 acre of garden on one side of the house. Closest shops are 1.5 km away and the train station ( Bittern) is opposite the shops. There is a station closer (700m) but the ground on the route there is uneven and will not suit everyone. There are also buses.

There is parking for a small caravan, up to about 6m including draw bar. Vans with pop tops can be a bit bigger as they will fit through the carport onto the grass.

We have just had our sitters cancel. We are happy for someone to stay for only part of the scheduled trip if they wish.
