We are planning an extended trip overseas next year to the UK We will be gone approximately 5 months. When we get back we are planning to sell our house, downsize and retire. We live in a comfortable house backing a reserve. Our house is a bit dated and we are both not the DIY type but it does need a bit of an update before we put it on the market. We were wondering if there is anyone out there who would like free rent for 5/6 months in exchange for doing some upkeep on our place. Ie paint the deck, clean driveways and roof etc, keep up the garden. Obviously we would have to draw up some sort of agreement about what has to be done. Would probably suit a tradesman or handy stay at home mum. We have 4 bedrooms so happy to have a family. Anyway, just putting it out there and happy to answer questions.
