2 x cats and 1 dog

Ollie our dog would love a walk each day and gets 1 meal per day in the evening. The cats are both inside cats and do not go outside and get 2 meals per day morning and night. None of the animals require medications.

We have a medium garden that will require watering along with a small orchid of a variety of plants that if not raining would love water every 2nd day.

Mowing around might be required due to the length of stay. We have a lawn mower and I will make sure all the grass is cut before your stay at our property.

Seeking non smoking house sitter/s to invite into our beautiful home in HUNCHY nestled in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

Minutes by car to picturesque Montville and only 20 minutes to Maroochydore and Maloolaba beaches, our house is situated in a perfect spot far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy. Due to the location of our house it would be beneficial if you have your own transport.

We have 10 acres of land, however a good majority of that is wooded forest with a gorgeous loop walking track that goes through it. There are other little trails around the property and lovely places to sit and watch the abundant bird life that flocks to the area. Beautiful parrots, laughing Kookaburras and cute little finches all frequent our garden.

The house is connected to electricity but relies on rain water for drinking and showering, there are 2 water tanks each approximately 10,000 litres. We also have bore water used for watering the veggie garden and running the washing machine and inside toilet. During the day you can sit at the table to look out at the amazing view, while at night you can sit outside and gaze up at the beautiful starry sky.

The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets. The master has a walk-in wardrobe with the main bathroom shared. The other smaller shower bathroom is in the garage. A spacious dining area and family space to watch television, read a book or surf internet with good download speeds. We have a number of board games to play with the family or if you have a Netflix account screencast to the TV with Google Chromecast device. The kitchen is large and has ample room to spread out and cook delicious meals. The house also has reverse cycle air-con and ceiling fans to keep things nice and cool in the Queensland summer. There is an in-ground pool for you to enjoy if you don't feel like going down to the beach and you need not worry it is all maintained by a pool guy who comes around once a month to check that water and pool are in good shape.

We have several pets, a Labradoodle named 'Ollie' and 2 cats 'Lulu' and 'Tora'. Both cats are inside animals and don't need to go outside, their litter tray is in the garage and we have ample supply of litter to last the duration of the house sit. Ollie enjoys a daily walk either along the trails of the property or down Hardings Road, but needs to be on the leash, he can get excited and not respond to commands to return. He spends most of his time inside but does need to be let outside and leashed up so that he can do his toiletries and snooze in the sun. Unfortunately our 2 cats are quite established in our house and are not accustomed to other animals so no other pets please.

Overall there is watering and pet minding to do but relatively easy. We would love you to enjoy our home and help us looking after the pets and small garden area while we are away.

It is beautifully quiet at night and in the summer it is great to have an outdoor BBQ and a swim in the pool.

Our neighbours are friendly and helpful.

We have 1 camera pointing towards the driveway to view incoming cars. It is viewable and not hidden.
