Our home is on 20 acres, north-east of metro Melbourne in the rural green wedge. A car is a necessity, though access to the city by train is good once you have driven to the station. It is 3 km to the General Store, pub etc, further to major shops. The house is modern - post 2009 bushfires - but on tank water, bottled gas, septic system. We have mains electricity, phone and fast internet. We do not run stock or pets (only a few chooks). This job is for housesitters who would enjoy a strikingly beautiful location and district and are comfortable with a degree of country living.
