We have an older independent cat, Zander, who requires a bit of company and feeding and we also have a regular visiting beagle, Hazel, who comes to allow my adult daughter to go to work and various activities . Hazel and daughter live in a unit complex and daughter is concerned about Hazel being upset if left on her own for too long and disturbing the neighbours.

Having said that , Hazel is a very nice dog and enjoys walks and sleeping and stealing the cat's food when you're not looking.

Sitter will have own self contained studio and access to the house and garden. Basic house duties of plant watering if necessary ( garden and pot plants are low maintenance but weather has been unpredictable. Be good if you can work form home or not be away for more than 5-6 hours at a time.
