I am seeking a warm, even tempered and patient housesitter who has experience in aged care, who can look after my gentle, passive mother for the period 13th to 27th May 2026. Daily visits from a registered agency provide assistance with personal care and domestic services.

You would have your own room in the unit in which Mum lives with two mature cats and a small friendly dog also needing care and love.

The property is set in tropical gardens with a pool, off street parking and is fully fenced with security. There is a share house also on the property which is managed separately, so there are people always close by in case of need or company.

This is a specialised house sit, so related expenses are covered, with a renumeration package as negotiated.

There may be an opportunity to stay on after the housesit, with accommodation including related expenses provided at a reduced rate, so you get the chance to enjoy all the activities and sights that Cairns and region has to offer.
