Assignment Requirements

We live on a beautiful rural residential property at Wondecla on the Atherton Tablelands. Our house is newly built and comfortable with a deck overlooking the peaceful gardens, wetland dam, local wildlife and forest. The closest town is Herberton village with a little supermarket around 10 minutes drive away. Atherton is the closest main town and is a 30 minute drive away. We would be able to provide a vehicle if required.

We have four large dogs and chooks which inhibits us from going on holidays ourselves (lucky we love our home). We have managed short trips away with family and friends helping us with our pets however we would like to go away for at least 3 weeks in December 2026. We are also going away in February 2026 for 3 nights in case there is a sitter that would like to try before committing for the December stay. We would like to build a relationship with someone who enjoys it at our place with our animals.

Our dogs haven't spent much time socialising with outside dogs and therefore we assume a sitter's dog would not be suitable here. Also we have an unfenced dam on our property and therefore children are also not suitable.
