I live in Bowen Hills, an inner city Brisbane suburb, in an old Art Deco apartment with good transport via train (Bowen Hills station) and the bus (Breakfast Creek Rd). A lovely place to live.

The down side for a sitter is that I have a lovely old (16 years) RagDoll cat who dominates life here. She requires a daily brush, particularly under the chin, and frequent small meals. No need to worry about this if food is available, but also she needs medication twice a day in the form of a pill crushed into her food.

Extra down side - she might wake you up twice during the night, first about 1.30 requiring some kitty biscuits, then later around 5 for real breakfast (which is when I get up anyway, but may worry you).

On the up side, she is a very good companion while watching television - she will watch anything sitting happily beside you.

I will be away for a few days, but if anyone can face the challenge, I look forward to hearing from you.
