House sit LOVEDALE

We live in a very relaxing, tranquil and peaceful setting with views overlooking vineyards. Our property is gated for added security.

We are looking for a sitter(s) who will look after our cats as well as be familiar with rural living. The cats particularly enjoy having company at night, after dinner, sitting with us around the fire while we watch tv.

Diego (ginger) is 6 years old and Baloo is 10 years old. They get along very well.

We also have 4 chickens which will need looking after as well as collecting the eggs.

We have 8 Angus low-line cattle. They look after themselves but we do have treats you can give them if you want.

Our pool will need to be cleaned and tested periodically.

It would be very helpful to have someone to mow the top paddock with our ride-on lawn mower. If this not feasible, we can possibly look into get a neighbour to do the mowing. The cows take care of the middle and bottom paddock. 😉 We don't require you to do any weeding and gardening.

We have a guesthouse on the property which is managed by Hunter Valley Escapes. Our cleaners look after the guesthouse and the laundry for the rental property.

The guesthouse is purely self-contained so guests look after themselves. If the guests have any problems they will call the property management company. You have no obligations to the guest house. Caretaker duties are not required.

The guesthouse is our business so when it is booked the guests have exclusive use of the pool. When we have no guests, you are more than welcome to use the pool.
