House sit SAN REMO

San Remo, 2262, greets you with the crisp scent of sea air, the iconic bridge to Phillip Island a constant backdrop. Your mornings with a canine companion will likely begin along the foreshore, where the gentle lapping of waves provides a soothing soundtrack. Many small cafes on Marine Parade offer outdoor seating; a flat white and a treat for your charge become a pleasant ritual. The town's weekdays unfold at a comfortable, unhurried pace, making it easy to settle into a rhythm around pet mealtimes and garden watering. Venturing further afield, the George Bass Coastal Walk beckons, its cliff-top paths offering invigorating treks with a sturdy dog. Back Beach, just a short drive, provides a wide stretch of sand for energetic runs and splash play. Weekends often mean a trip over the bridge to Phillip Island. Here, beyond the famous wildlife, you’ll find quieter coves and bushwalks suitable for longer explorations, ensuring your temporary family member enjoys a change of scenery. Local markets occasionally appear, a good spot for fresh provisions. Evenings in San Remo are typically tranquil, with the only sounds often being distant waves or the occasional fishing boat. This quiet provides a welcome contrast to more urban settings, allowing for restful nights after ensuring all pets are settled. The absence of bustling nightlife means a focus on the natural environment and the comfort of the home you’re caring for. This genuine slice of coastal Victoria offers a peaceful base, where fresh sea air circulates through open windows, truly immersing you in the local cadence.
