Our two seniors, Oakley is Sable and white and will be 13 in June, and Gemma 14 in July. Both very healthy and still reasonably energetic.
Belle, the newest addition to the family will celebrate her 1st birthday in July, she is playful and wilful, and like all border collies has selective hearing, but she's adorable and loves to play with a frisbee.
Our home is located on Macleay Island within Southern Morton Bay.

Assignment Requirements

We are looking for someone interested in looking after our 3 beautiful border collies, two of which are quite old, 13 & 14, with the 3rd a pup who will be 12 mths in July together with our chickens. Only Belle and Oakley can go walking but all enjoy a play with the frisbee in the from yard.

Our home is located on Macleay Island, the second largest within the Southern Morton Bay Island group. Situated at the northern end of the island, we have a large block, 1800m2, with fabulous ocean views all the way to Stradbroke Island.

There are two ways to get to the island, passenger or vehicle ferry, the later being expensive for just a weekend visit.

The island has 2 supermarkets, a bakery, cafe that sells amazing coffee, and several restaurants with both the Golf and Bowling clubs offering a shuttle service to and from home. Both clubs allow non-members to use the facilities.

On the block we have 3 chicken many fruits trees (although new and not yet fruit bearing) but a fully stocked herb garden and bikes available for your use to get a round.

Inside the house is reverse cycle air con to keep you warm on the cold winter days, a smart TV with access to Netflix, Prime and Kayo, expresso machine, and a fully laden pantry.

We prefer you come the night before we depart to introduce you to the dogs and provide all the info about the house to make you visit most enjoyable.
