We are seeking a reliable, responsible and hands-on person or couple to live in a one-bedroom apartment on an acreage property from approximately December 2026.

The arrangement is expected to continue for up to 12 months, although it may be shortened if our overseas plans change. A minimum period of approximately six months is definite.

In return for providing regular groundskeeping and property support, free rent will be offered for the duration of the arrangement.

The role would suit someone who enjoys rural living, takes pride in maintaining a property and is comfortable working independently. Duties would include:

● Tending to and supporting the property’s fences

● Assisting with general property maintenance

● Supporting the upkeep and adjustment of sheds and outbuildings

● Assisting with the needs of shed tenants

● Mowing the grass weekly

● Keeping the grounds and surrounding areas clean, tidy and well presented

● Reporting any maintenance issues and helping ensure the property remains in good condition

The successful person would need to be dependable, respectful and capable of carrying out regular outdoor work. Experience with acreage properties, fencing, mowing, general maintenance or groundskeeping would be highly regarded.

This is a live-in arrangement, and the apartment would provide a private one-bedroom space on the property. The successful applicant would be expected to care for the grounds and contribute to the overall upkeep of the property throughout the agreed period.

There may also be potential opportunities to assist with or access Airbnb accommodation, depending on availability and the final arrangement.
