We are in an older home with 2 bedrooms and office. The home is set on a large block. We have a 6year old male golden cocker spaniel Wally, who is a house dog, but does sleep outside at night and is left outside when leaving the house for shopping, socialising etc. He would love to be walked twice a day but daily would be fine as he does get exercise in the yard. He loves company, sleeping on your lap or the lounge, yes he is spoilt. If the lawn could be mowed once (if needed) whilst we are away that would be appreciated as well. Other than that just expect the home to be kept clean and tidy.
