we are looking for an animal lover to look after our two beautiful kelpies and 8 chickens for 6 nights. We live on 70 acres between Maleny and Conondale and have the lovely Elaman creek running through our property. Our place is a 10 min drive from Maleny and about 20 mins from Kenilworth. Caloundra takes about 40 mins. There is a general store 5 mins away at Conondale.

We live in a very comfortable shed house with air conditioning and abundant solar power. The house has all the mod cons you would expect, one bedroom with a queen bed and a spare double bed. Our ‘real’ House is being built at the moment so you will have some noise here and there but it is about 200m from where you would be staying. You are also welcome to bring your caravan if you prefer and park up somewhere nice next to the creek.

Free wifi internet is available for you to use and you have access to Netflix and Prime TV.

We are looking for someone who can be here most of the time as we don’t want our dogs to be left alone while you go to work. Although they have 70 acres to roam on, they tend to stick close by and there is an house yard to contain them. They need to be taken for 2 or 3 walks a day (just around our property off lead). They are both very good with the chickens when they are free ranging. They love other dogs but one likes to be dominant, so best you don’t have your own dogs.
