House Sitting in sandy bay, 7005

Living in Sandy Bay offers a rhythm dictated by the tides and the seasonal shifts of the Derwent River. Mornings usually begin with a coffee on Sandy Bay Road before heading toward the waterfront for a long walk along the Esplanade. This stretch provides an easy route for daily dog walks, allowing pets to stretch their legs alongside the shoreline while you soak in the maritime atmosphere. The pace here feels steady and unhurried, making it easy to settle into the quiet routine of managing a private residence. Weekends lend themselves to exploring the rugged trails of Mount Nelson or browsing local produce at nearby markets. If the weather turns, the nearby bus routes provide quick access to the Hobart CBD, though most residents prefer the coastal air. You might find yourself spending afternoons on the beach or tucked into a quiet nook at a local café. Caring for a home here means embracing this connection to the outdoors and finding balance between domestic responsibilities and the natural landscape.
