House Sitting in the vines, 6069

Life in The Vines moves at a much slower pace than the city, dictated by the quiet rhythms of the surrounding bushland. Mornings often begin with the sound of cockatoos in the garden, making it a rewarding setting for walking a resident dog through the nearby bush trails. These winding paths offer a sense of isolation that suits anyone looking to disconnect. After a long walk, a short drive brings you toward the more active hubs of Doreen or Mernda, where local coffee shops provide a reliable spot to settle in with a book. Weekends are best spent exploring the edges of the Nillumbik greenery or heading toward the local markets for fresh produce. Since the suburb sits on the fringe, you will find yourself leaning into an outdoor lifestyle, perhaps cycling along the open roads or enjoying the stillness of a backyard sunset. Managing a home here feels less like a chore and more like a retreat, provided you enjoy the stillness of the leafy outskirts.
