House Sitting in sandgate, 4017

Sandgate offers a rhythmic, coastal pace that suits a slow-paced house sit. Mornings typically begin with long walks along the Esplanade, where the saltwater breeze makes even short strolls with a resident dog feel refreshing. The foreshore walking track provides a continuous route for exercise, connecting various patches of shade and sea views. You might find yourself lingering at a local café on the main strip for a quiet coffee before heading to the local markets to stock the pantry. Weekends revolve around the water and the surrounding bushland. Exploring the nearby wetlands or taking a short train ride into the city allows for easy transitions between solitude and movement. While tending to the home and ensuring pets are settled, you will likely spend significant time outdoors, watching the tide change near the pier. The suburb feels grounded, defined by its proximity to the bay and the steady, unhurried movement of its coastal residents.
