Life in Buxton follows the rhythm of the surrounding forests and the steady flow of the Murrindindi greenery. Mornings often begin with quiet walks through the nearby fern gullies, where the damp earth and towering trees provide a soothing backdrop for settling into a new home. For those caring for dogs, the winding trails around the local parks offer plenty of sensory stimulation and long stretches of shade. This pace of life encourages a slower, more intentional way of being, centered around the simple comfort of a cozy living room and the sounds of native birds outside the window. Midday breaks usually involve a short drive to local cafes or exploring the nearby markets for fresh produce. The proximity to the Yarra Valley means easy access to scenic drives, yet the town itself remains a tranquil retreat. Maintaining a routine here feels natural, as the landscape dictates a calm, steady tempo. After a day spent exploring the bushland or nearby mountain tracks, returning to a quiet house provides a grounded sense of peace.
