House Sitting in tawonga, 3697

Your days in Tawonga unfold with a gentle, unhurried pace. Mornings here begin with the quiet rush of the Kiewa River, a constant soundtrack just beyond the back gardens. Letting the resident dog out, you’ll feel the crisp alpine air, a refreshing start before the valley sun warms the gum trees. A short stroll along the riverbank, perhaps past the general store where locals gather for a morning coffee and newspaper, offers a pleasant route for daily pet exercise. The paths are mostly flat, winding beside clear water, ideal for a dog to sniff and explore without needing a lead in designated areas. Afternoons allow for longer excursions. Extend your walk towards the base of Mount Bogong, where graded tracks ascend through eucalyptus forests. Even a short venture offers stunning views and a chance for a dog to stretch its legs on a more varied terrain. Back at the house, the quiet hum of rural life means less disturbance for napping pets and more focus for your own tasks. Evenings often bring spectacular sunsets over the ranges, a serene backdrop as you settle in, the day’s rhythm dictated by light and the needs of your temporary companions. Life here centers on the natural environment, making daily routines straightforward and deeply connected to the outdoors.
