Morning routines often begin with a quiet coffee on the veranda before heading out for long, slow walks along the riverbanks or through the nearby scrubland. These trails offer ample space for dogs to explore natural scents, making them an ideal base for sitters with active pets. The landscape remains quiet, allowing for peaceful afternoons spent reading or tending to a garden while the local wildlife settles in for the evening. Driving a few minutes toward Rochester or towards the lakeside towns provides easy access to local bakeries and small grocery runs.
