House Sitting in duffys forest, 2084

Mornings in Duffys Forest begin with the rustle of gum leaves and kookaburra calls, a tranquil start to your day. The pace here is deliberate, far removed from coastal bustle. Taking your charge for their first walk means stepping directly into a vast network of fire trails bordering Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. These paths, often sandy underfoot, offer extensive routes for energetic dogs and provide a cooler, shaded environment before the midday sun. Afternoons settle into quietude, perfect for tending to home duties or simply observing wallabies graze near the property edge. Grocery runs are a short, car-dependent trip to Mona Vale's main street, where you'll find supermarkets and casual cafes for a break. Consider an afternoon drive through Akuna Bay, a winding route offering water views and a secluded cafe for a change of scenery. Your return will likely involve navigating unsealed roads, a common feature of this semi-rural enclave. Evenings bring a shift in the air, often cooler, with the scent of eucalyptus. The lack of streetlights means stargazing is remarkable, a quiet end to a day where the primary rhythm is dictated by the sun and the natural world. Maintaining this gentle routine, ensuring pets are exercised on the surrounding trails, becomes your effortless daily pattern here. Living within this bushland pocket requires an appreciation for its quiet solitude and a reliance on personal transport for most excursions beyond the immediate trails.
