House Sitting in paddington, 2021

Morning light filters through the jacarandas along Given Terrace, signaling a slow start to the day. You might find yourself walking a dog toward Milton or along the leafy stretches of Suncorp Stadium’s perimeter before the city rush begins. Weekends lend themselves to exploring the local cafe strips, where the aroma of fresh espresso drifts from quiet corners. Taking a pet for a long stroll through the nearby parklands offers a predictable rhythm, grounding your time in someone else's sanctuary. While the suburb feels settled, the energy shifts toward the weekend markets and the nearby riverwalks. A short bus ride or a brisk walk can transport you toward the water, providing a necessary escape from the terrace-house density. Managing a home here involves embracing this balance of quiet, residential streets and accessible urban hubs. You will likely spend afternoons lounging in a sun-drenched courtyard or navigating the local boutiques, enjoying a pace of life that feels both intentional and connected.
