Assignment Requirements

We have a 4 yo staffy / demolition expert named Chichi full of life / laugh / love, and 14 yo jacky Archie who thinks himself a classy gentleman and values pats and rolling in dead things. We have a leafy yard and the pups love to go for walks along the neighbourhood creek. Chichi can be boisterous and tends to get overexcited around other pups so is on-lead in public spaces and off-lead on our regular walking circuit. Our home has good A/C for the hot months of Dec/Jan and a new kitchen, bikes, wifi, comfy bedrooms, and living area. We are happy for housesitters to settle in and make themselves at home.

About the Area

MILLNER Darwin, Northern Territory

Suburb Insights

Millner in Darwin offers a steady, tropical rhythm that suits a quiet house-sitting routine. Mornings often begin with slow strolls through the shaded paths of nearby parks, allowing dogs to sniff through the greenery before the midday humidity settles in. Many sitters find that the local pace encourages a lifestyle centered around the home, making it easy to settle into a predictable care schedule for resident pets. When you need to step away from the house, a short drive brings you to the coastal breeze of the nearby beaches or the casual energy of local café strips. Weekend trips to farmers' markets provide fresh produce for home-cooked meals, while the proximity to major transport links ensures easy access to the broader Darwin area without feeling disconnected. Living here means embracing a lifestyle of shaded verandas and gentle afternoons, where the primary task is simply maintaining the calm, steady pulse of a well-loved home.
