We live in the south of Canberra in a great neighbourhood. We have a little black and white cat, Hobbes, who loves running around outside and then curling up inside with some company.

We are going away from the 24 December 2017 to 18 January 2018 and need someone to look after Hobbes and keep him company. He will reward you with purrs and cuddles.

Location and house

Our local area - Erindale is full of great eating options and conveniences. The local shopping area is a 5 minute drive away. It has a supermarket, petrol station, chemist, takeaway shop and cafes. There is also one of the best restaurant strips in the city just across from the local shopping area. Everything from Thai, Indian, Turkish, Italian and a great ice cream place are within easy reach. The Tuggeranong Town Centre is also a short drive/ walk away.

Our house is close to a bus stop and the main highways to take you in to the city.

You will have access to high speed Wi-Fi, Netflix and air conditioning to get you through the summer break.

Responsibilities

* Feed cat, get him in to the house in the evening and let him out in the morning;

* Bring in / take out bins

* Collect mail

* Keep house clean and tidy
